Classically trained and imaginatively driven, Stephen takes the basics and gives them a whole new twist, and then twists them again.
Stephen graduated from both The Paul Smith College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and the Culinary Institute of America and has honed his craft as Chef at many of the area’s finest venues such as The Farmington Country Club, The Griswold Inn, and The Red Lion Inn to name a few.
For the last 26 years he has led the kitchens at The Crown Market as Executive Chef to countless accolades. As he embarks on the next phase of his successful career, Stephen is looking forward to seeing the smiles on countless faces as they enjoy the unique style of food service Artisan Caterers has to offer.
Stephen loves it all, whether a wood-fired pizza party with the two mobile brick ovens for all the teams on a league or a formal wedding in a garden, as well as everything in between, Stephen will help construct the perfect menu for the perfect function.
